I love discovering sites with great content. This one seems to be the mother load when it comes to information for first responders about how to plan for and tailor response actions to people with access and functional needs. The site was put together by the Center for Public Safety and Innovation from the St. Petersburg College AllState Center: National Terrorism Preparedness Institute. The site has four components. My biggest criticism is that the videos are only viewable by first downloading adope flash. Why not YouTube?

Checklist: This tab provides an On-The-Spot Assessment Strategies Checklist that may help to quickly identify resources, considerations or communication strategies to maintain the individual’s independence in an emergency situation. The checklist includes links to specific portions of the guide. This electronic checklist (.pdf) can also be printed on standard paper.
Video: This tab provides video links to scenarios, demonstrations and interviews which support emergency response for people who have access and functional needs.
